The laptop is not charging once you have logged into Windows. Keeping it in BIOS will however charge the laptop, but when OS boots up, the charging stops.<\/p>\n
So it turns out that Lenovo Vantage<\/strong> has a setting called\u00a0Airplane Power Mode.\u00a0<\/strong>What it does is that it will “protect the airplane AC power outlet, by controlling the power consumption of your system<\/em>” – as it will state further down in the screenshots.<\/p>\n This means that the system will charge much slower, and in some cases (or all?), it literally turns off the charging of the battery, or power from the outlet altogether, if you’re not actually connected on an airplane.\u00a0I would assume it’s different on an airplane(?!).\u00a0<\/em>The computer will turn off, as soon as you log into Windows, as the battery will eventually be fully depleted.<\/p>\n First of all, since you can’t get on your laptop, as it will automatically shut off, due to the depleted battery (probably), simply charge the battery while the laptop is off – to get just enough power to do the steps below.<\/p>\n Once you get into Windows, make sure Windows is not in Flight Mode, by clicking the network icon in the bottom right, then check Flight Mode. As depicted here:<\/p>\n If it’s still not working after this, open\u00a0Lenovo Vantage <\/strong>– Click\u00a0Hardware Settings<\/strong>, as shown below.<\/p>\n Then click on\u00a0Power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Finally, flick the switch on\u00a0Enable Airplane Power Mode<\/strong>. Also disable\u00a0auto-detection<\/strong> below that setting. (You may have to click\u00a0MORE<\/strong> at the bottom of the page when you scroll down, to see the settings below)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I hope this solved your issue.
